After You (อาฟเตอร์ยู) now has more than twenty branches across Bangkok, and the very first location I ever visited was this centralWorld branch.
In Bangkok’s main shopping districts such as Siam and Chit Lom, you’ll find After You inside major malls like centralWorld and Siam Paragon. There's Always Room for Dessert
I still remember my first trip to Bangkok a few years ago, when I spotted a sign outside After You Dessert Cafe that read: There's Always Room for Dessert. I couldn’t help but laugh — I was already full, yet the moment I saw those desserts, I grabbed a queue number and joined the line without a second thought.
Ever since then, every trip to Bangkok feels incomplete without at least one visit to After You.
After You is all about indulgence. It’s a cafe entirely devoted to desserts, with no distractions. They even offer complimentary, self-serve iced tea and syrup, a small but thoughtful detail that regulars appreciate. Many of their sweets are simply irresistible. The stars of the show are the signature Shibuya Honey Toast and their famous Kakigori (fluffy Japanese-style shaved ice). Even if you don’t have a serious sweet tooth, it’s hard not to be impressed by how visually stunning these desserts are.
The Face of Bangkok Desserts: After You & Its Signature Treats
After You Dessert Cafe first opened its original store in Bangkok in 2007.

My personal favorite is without a doubt the Shibuya Honey Toast. With so many flavor variations, people often ask which one is the best. Honestly? They’re all amazing.
Forget your basic breakfast toast — this is a thick-cut, caramelized masterpiece. When the Honey Toast arrives at the table, the rich, buttery aroma is incredible. The crust is perfectly crisp, often topped with nuts like walnuts for extra texture, while the inside remains light and fluffy. The honey syrup soaks deep into the toast, giving it a warm golden color throughout (unlike versions that stay dry and pale in the center). Every bite is pure satisfaction.
Another must-try is their signature Panookie.
We’re especially hooked on the Triple Chocolate Panookie. Served straight from a mini cast-iron skillet, this dessert is indulgent from the moment it arrives. Texture-wise, it sits somewhere between a cake, a cookie, and a warm chocolate pie — all in a single bite.
On top, there’s a generous scoop of ice cream drizzled with rich chocolate sauce, while the panookie itself is packed with chunks of chocolate. Slice into it, and a molten chocolate center slowly spills out.
Honestly, shouldn’t desserts this decadent be illegal?
If you have a sweet tooth, this is non-negotiable. Fair warning: once you try it, most everyday desserts may never quite measure up again.
While their cakes get plenty of attention, After You is also well known for its shaved ice. Each kakigori flavor is almost too cute to resist.
And it’s not just about appearances. Every signature dessert comes with small surprises. With their kakigori, for instance, beneath the fluffy cream topping you’ll find layers of different fillings — and at the very bottom, hidden toast cubes waiting like little rewards.
